This oil painting, simply titled "Cows at Ingram Bridge," is set in the Ingram and Breamish Valley. The focal point of the composition is the characterful Ingram Bridge which has stood since the late 19th century. The scene is one that could be as true now as a hundred years ago - It is not unheard of for cattle to escape the nearby pastures and and take themselves down to the river bed!
